In this new body of work there is a structural element introduced, especially as seen in the Silo paintings.

Lambertson explains, “Capturing light, simplifying forms as well as shallow perspective continue to be of interest, as well as atmosphere and color-filled strokes.”

The Bench (In Memorium)

In an essay, John Goodrich wrote, “Judith Lambertson may be considered a modern classicist: an artist bent on communicating complex, enduring sensations with simple means. The artist clearly knows a thing or two about the workings of colors and shapes.”
